Little red Riding Hood -
 The Big Bad Wolf -  Background Stock -  Moon - [link] Jeans - my own resources FINALLY after hours, upon hours, upon hours of painting, this is what came out. i am not 100% satisfied by it, not at all, but without a wacom tablet or the like, i couldn't do much more with it. so, there she be, about 3 days respectively in Photoshop CS3. for my lovvverly friend, Sparty. her birthday is very much soon, so this shall be for it  EDIT: those dark track pants he was wearing have always bothered me, because it made him look like he'd been cut off. so i put some pants on him  and i think it looks TONS better. hope you all do, too. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. Because other than that, this is very slick. Nicely balanced, atmospheric and just a tad eerie, which works well with it though. The placement is good and the entire scene seems seamless (by the by, try repeating "scene seems seamless" ten times in a row, real fast... fun, eh? no? bah! what do you know anyway).
Looking at it some more searching for things to pick at, since I'm that sort of person, perhaps - perhaps - the werewolf's torso cuts off too abruptly, no? I mean, I do like the solid blacks in this pic, but the contrast between his upper and lower body is a tad stark. But hey, that's subjective, and other than this and the mentioned similarity to the other pic (which is not a bad thing per se, only felt weird to me), I see no flaws.
